Hi! I'm Abbey, and this spring I'll be spending 100 days in Berlin, Germany studying urban studies and architecture. Throughout my journey, I'll be filling a sketchbook with drawings and documenting them here.

I'm interested in the ways that a person can form a relationship with a place as though the place were a close friend. Through my sketchbook project, I hope to explore the ways in which a sketchbook can serve as a tool for an artist to engage with a place, and thus enrich experiences of the place with meaning.
